Men of Courage

This weekend we celebrate the men who had the courage to rise up and rebel against an oppressive government. In doing so, they were labeled traitors and would have been sentenced to death were they caught by the British. This weekend we honor men like Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton who were able to put their political differences aside in order to serve a greater cause. Most of all we give thanks to General George Washington and the brave men who crossed the Delaware on that cold December night which lead to the victories at Trenton, and Princeton, which changed the momentum of the war. So in closing, God bless America, and God bless the founding fathers.

"Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly."
-Thomas Paine-
